How access works on myPower24

Description

Access is the permission of a person or an organisation to open a plant. Each access is one row on the Access tab of the plant. For the levels, see Access levels field definitions. For the procedures, see Manage who can access your plant.

Access Row

Holder: one person or one organisation.
Level: Viewer, Editor, Installer or Full control.
Plant: one plant. A row gives no access to other plants.
End date: none. The row stays until a person removes it.

Organisation Access

An organisation row gives access to all active members. It also gives access to new members when they become members.

Organisation admin: the level of the row.
Other member: Viewer, or a higher level from an organisation admin. See What your organisation can give its team.
Inactive organisation: no access for its members.

Access from Two or More Rows

A person with two or more rows on a plant gets the highest level. No row decreases access. To remove the access of a person, remove each row that gives the person access.

Staff Access

SolarMD staff with a fleet role can open all plants. This is also true without a row on the Access tab of the plant.

Notifications

Start: the moment someone adds the row.
Default channel: the in-app bell.
Email and push: off until each person sets them to On. See Choose what you are notified about.

Who the plant belongs to: a different record, not an access level. See Who a plant belongs to.
