The Access page
What the Access page is for
Every plant one account can reach, and the reason each one is reachable.
It changes no access. To grant or revoke, use the plant's own Access tab (see Manage who can access your plant).
Where to find it
Your own, titled My access: the menu under your name in the top bar. Somebody else's, titled Access: User List, then the Access link on their row. User admins and administrators may open anyone; an organisation admin may open a member, reached from that organisation. Your own page without an admin role gives the plain reading: one table, no row references, no verdicts.
The two tabs
- Current Access - what this account can reach.
- Access Requests - search for a plant and ask its holders for access. Your own page only.
Current Access
The counts across the top are plants, routine, need attention and not tied to a plant.
By plant is the default: one row per plant, expanding on click to its sources. By source groups one row per source by mechanism, so a plant reachable two ways appears twice. The filter box narrows both by plant name, Export CSV always exports the source rows, and the page remembers which view you last used in that browser.
Sources are labelled Personal grant, Grant via [organisation], Device share (legacy), Plant share (legacy), Supervised by [name] or API token, each with a status: Active, Mirrored, No mirror, or an amber chip saying why the row gives nothing. Plants roll those up to Routine or Needs attention, with an Owner pill where this account is the registered owner. Added names who created the access and when.
Not tied to a plant, at the bottom, holds grants and memberships that apply platform-wide.
Tips
- By plant answers "what can they see"; By source answers "what do I revoke".
- A plant missing altogether is a different question: see Why you can or cannot see a plant.
