Organisation membership and status field definitions

Description

This article explains each value on the My Organisations page and on the admin page of an organisation. For the concepts, see What organisations are for. For the page, see My Organisations. Member: a person in the organisation. A member gets Viewer and the notifications on each plant of the organisation, and cannot change anything.
Member since: the date when the person became a member.
Org admin: the column on the Members tab. It shows Admin or Member.
Admin: gets the level of the organisation on each plant. An admin manages members, invitations, plants and the notification default, and can give members more than Viewer.

Make a person an org admin only if that person needs the full level of the organisation. There is no role that manages members with less access.

Pending: sent, but not accepted and not expired.
Accepted: the person became a member. This status does not change again.
Expired: the 48 hours ended, or an admin revoked the invitation. The two conditions show the same status.

Org admin: Admin if the invitation makes the person an org admin, and Member if not.
Expires: 48 hours after the last time the invitation went out.
Resend: a button on Pending and Expired rows. It starts a new 48 hours, and the admin who clicks it becomes the sender.
Revoke: a button on Pending rows only.
New invitation to the same address: updates the row that the address has, unless the status of that row is Accepted. The new sender becomes the sender of that row.

Active: members get access and notifications through the organisation.
Inactive: only SolarMD sets this. Members get no access, no delegations and no notifications through the organisation, but stay members.

organisation: a tag after the name that marks an organisation row.
Organisation: source line, with the member count, for example Organisation, 12 members, administrators get this level. Members who are not admins get Viewer, or more if an org admin gives it.
Editor: an organisation cannot hold this level, and an org admin cannot give it to a member.

Invitation accepted: the person becomes a member, and an org admin if the invitation says so. The row shows Accepted.
Admin invitation, sender no longer an admin: if the sender left the organisation or does not have the org admin role at this time, the person cannot accept the invitation. The invitation stays open, and a Resend from a current admin makes it work again.
Member removed: all access of the person through the organisation ends. The org admin role also ends. Access in the name of the person stays.
Organisation access to a plant revoked: members do not have access to the plant and its delegations. Access in the name of each member stays.
Organisation level on a plant lowered: delegated levels on that plant decrease to the new level. If the level increases again, the delegated levels change to their previous values again.
Org admin role given or removed: the person gets an Account / access notification, and the change applies in 30 seconds or less.
Organisation deactivated: no member has access through it. When SolarMD makes it active again, the access is the same as before.
