What organisations are for

Without an organisation, you share each new site with each technician, one at a time. When a technician leaves the company, nobody is sure which plants that person can open at that time.

Description

An organisation is an optional team account for a company. Its members get access to the plants of the organisation. See How access works on myPower24.

Joiners and Leavers

• New member: accepts one invitation and gets Viewer on all plants of the organisation.
• New plant: you add one access row for the organisation, and all members get the plant.
• Leaver: you remove the person one time. Then all access of that person through the organisation ends.
• Who holds the access: the company, not one person.

Personal Access

An installer who works alone does not have to use an organisation. Access in your own name is the usual procedure.

Member Access

• Member: gets Viewer and the notifications on each plant, but cannot change anything.
• Org admin: gets the level of the organisation on each plant, and manages members, invitations and plants.
• More than Viewer: an org admin can give it to a member. See What your organisation can give its team.
• Access in your own name: stays, whatever happens in the organisation.

Limits

• Plants: only the plants that have an access row for the organisation.
• Member level: not more than the level of the organisation at this time. If its level on a plant decreases, the levels that its admins gave on that plant also decrease.
• SolarMD staff permissions: an organisation does not give them to its members.
• Inactive organisation: only SolarMD can make an organisation inactive. Its members then do not have access, but they stay members.
