Settings screen
Purpose
The Settings tab holds your account, the app settings, the notification settings and the logger tools.

Location
- Tab: Settings, the last tab at the bottom of the app.
Page Layout
Sections
- First section (no heading): your username and Sign out.
- Appearance: Theme, set to Auto (follow the phone), Light or Dark.
- Security: Sign in with biometrics, on by default. Only a phone with a fingerprint or face sensor shows it.
- Dashboard: Advanced dashboard, to change the widgets on the Home tab.
- Notifications: opens the notification settings.
- Device: Variables, Set up with Local access, and Stream directly from the logger, with a box for the logger IP address.
- Legal & Support: Help & guides, What's new, Privacy Policy and Delete my account.
- Version: at the bottom. Tap it to open What's new.
Notification Settings
- This device: Enable push, to set push to on or off on this phone.
- Account defaults: your settings for all your plants.
- Organisation defaults: an organisation admin sets them for all members.
- Plant overrides: settings for one plant. Tap Add override for a plant.
- Category row: tap it to show the Email, In-app bell and Push switches.
- Account / access: always on, with a padlock.
- Push: off and locked, with Needs In-app bell, while the In-app bell is off.
Tips
- A change to the notification settings also shows on the website.
- Email and push are off by default for the alarm categories.
- To change a logger variable, Editor access or higher is necessary.
- Delete my account opens an email to SolarMD support. Then SolarMD support deletes the account.
