Notification Settings

What Notification Settings is for

Where you choose what myPower24 notifies you about, per category and per channel (Email, In-app bell, Push). You never subscribe: any plant you can see notifies you automatically. One table shows at a time.

Companion guides

The everyday actions are in Choose what you are notified about; every category, channel and label is defined in Notification categories and settings field definitions.

Where to find it

Menu under your username at the top right, then Notification settings. A plant's Plant settings page carries the same per-plant table on a Notifications tab, if you may configure that plant.

The page at a glance

Settings for opens the scope picker: Account defaults first, then plants with settings of their own, marked changed or changed, no visibility, then the rest alphabetically. It lists 50 plants; the search icon finds any other, from two characters. N with their own settings jumps to an exception. On a plant the bar is a breadcrumb back, and Use my account settings clears everything set there.

How these settings combine expands into the three rungs, weakest first: Organisation default, Account defaults, Plant overrides. The one you are editing is outlined.

Each cell shows the state (On or Off) and, underneath, where it comes from. Click to change it, hover for the sentence version. Account / access rows are locked, and a dash means that channel never delivers for that category.

Tips

  • Everything here is about what you receive. Nobody else is affected.
  • Organisation defaults are set on the organisation page's Notifications tab, not here. They appear only as a from ... line under a value.
  • A plant marked changed, no visibility does nothing now and resumes if your access returns.
