Devices screen

Purpose

The Devices tab lists the equipment on the logger of the selected plant.

• Tab: Devices, the second tab at the bottom of the app.

Page Layout

Device List

• Category panel: one panel for each type of device, with a count such as 3/4 online.
• Tile: one tile for each model, with a picture, the model name, the manufacturer and the online and offline counts.
• Add device: shows at the top of the list if you have Editor access or higher and the logger supports it.
• Empty list: the screen shows No devices connected to this logger yet.
• No connection: the app cannot reach myPower24. Tap Retry.

Device Page

Tap a tile to open the device. If the logger has more than one unit of that model, select the unit first.

• Built-in page: for Plant Control, the PV Manager and the logger itself.
• Published layout: a page from the layout that the device driver publishes.
• Temporary view: a short page for a SolarMD battery with no layout.
• Auto-arranged page: the live fields of a different device with no layout.
• Not available in the app at this time: the device data, and an Open on website button.

Add Device Wizard

The wizard asks for the manufacturer, the model and the connection, then attaches the device to the logger.

Tips

• Pull down to refresh.
• With Viewer access, a device page shows values only, and has no settings to change.
• Tap the plant card at the top to see the devices of a different plant.
