Devices screen
What it shows
Devices lists the equipment on the selected logger, in a panel per category. Each panel header names the category and how many of its devices are online, such as 3/4 online. Inside, devices are tiles, one per model, showing a product picture, the model name, the manufacturer, the model code and an Online or Offline count. Pull down to refresh.
With nothing attached the screen reads No devices connected to this logger yet. If the app cannot reach myPower24 at all, it shows No connection with a Retry button instead.
Opening a device
Tap a tile to open the device. Where a model has more than one unit on the logger, a picker lists the units first.
What you get depends on the device:
- A built-in page for Plant Control, the PV Manager, the logger itself, and SolarMD batteries.
- A page built from the device's own published layout, where its driver ships one.
- Otherwise Not available in the app yet, listing the serial, manufacturer and model, with an Open on website button.
For which devices are supported and what they report, see the Supported Devices section of this knowledge base.
Adding a device
Add device appears at the top of the list when you are allowed to configure the plant. It steps through the manufacturer, the model, the connection interface and discovery, then attaches the device to the logger.
Switching plant
Tap the plant card at the top to view another plant's devices.
