PV Real-Time Data
What it shows
A live tile for one solar tracker (an MPPT, the part of the inverter that runs one group of panels). It shows the tracker's Power, Voltage and Current now, over a trend line of its recent power.
Where to find it
Open Dashboard, click the pencil in the dashboard top bar to enter edit mode, click Add New Widget, search the picker for PV Real-Time Data, then click Add Widget.
Reading it
- Power - how much the tracker is producing now, in
Wup to a kilowatt andkWabove that. - Voltage - the voltage on that string of panels.
- Current - the current flowing from it, one figure per string on the tracker.
- Trend - the line behind the numbers is the tracker's last 30 power readings, so you can tell whether it is climbing, steady or dropping. Voltage and current are numbers only.
The tile also carries the device's serial number and an MPPT badge, so several tiles side by side stay distinguishable.
Settings
Open the tile's settings with the spanner icon.
- Select Device MPPT: - a list of your solar devices by serial number, each holding MPPT 1, MPPT 2 and so on. Pick one.
- Display Options: - Show Power Metric, Show Voltage Metric and Show Current Metric choose which of the three appear. All three start on.
Tips
Add one tile per tracker to compare strings side by side. For a longer look back over the day, use PV MPPT History.
