Plant Summary
What it shows
A single live tile with your whole site at a glance: PV (solar), Battery, Grid and Load. Each value updates on its own as new readings arrive, with a small trend line under it drawn from the last 40 readings.
Where to find it
Open Dashboard, click the pencil in the dashboard top bar to enter edit mode, click Add New Widget, search the picker for Plant Summary, then click Add Widget.
Reading it
Four tiles, left to right:
- PV - solar power the site is producing now, in
kW. - Battery - state of charge, as a percentage full.
- Grid - power at the utility connection now, in
kW. - Load - what the site is using now, in
kW.
The three power figures are plain amounts with no sign, so the Grid tile shows how much is moving, not whether you are importing or exporting. For direction, use Power Flow.
The tile header is always "Plant Summary" and cannot be renamed.
Settings
Open the tile's settings with the spanner icon. There is one option.
- Show Generator - off by default ("Enable if this site has a generator connected."). Turn it on and a fifth Generator tile (
kW) is added.
Tips
Use Plant Summary as the top tile of a "Live" View, then add charts below it for history. The tile answers "what is happening now?"; the charts answer "what happened over time?".
