PV Devices
What it shows
A live tile with the combined output of a chosen set of your solar devices, not the whole site. Pick which devices to add up, and the tile shows their total. The value updates on its own as new readings arrive.
Where to find it
Open Dashboard, click the pencil in the dashboard top bar to enter edit mode, click Add New Widget, search the picker for PV Devices, then click Add Widget.
Reading it
The tile shows the sum of the devices you selected, in kW. For the output of the whole site in one figure, use PV Power.
A new tile selects the first device reporting output for you, so it is never blank while you decide.
Settings
Open the tile's settings with the spanner icon.
- Widget Title - the name on the tile. It fills in on its own as
PV_x/y(devices selected out of devices found) until you type your own, for example "East roof". - Select PV Devices: - a switch per solar device, each labelled with the device's serial number and marked "Include in power calculation". Switch on the ones this tile should add up.
Tips
Add several PV Devices tiles, each with its own group of devices and its own name, to get a separate readout per roof or per string.
